This campaign will mostly be fought on the ground, with volunteers who help me go door to door and who open their houses to me so that I can meet their friend and neighbors.

But, besides blood, sweat, and tears, we are going to need a substantial sum of money to win this election. Signs, palm cards, an office, mailings and phone calls, not to mention this website, are all expensive. The incumbent, who is also a ward leader,  has an easy time raising money. To match her, our campaign has to rely on the people like you who want a different kind of Representative. I would prefer to raise most of it from you, not from political action committees. So, please, give what you can to this effort.

So far, campaign contributions are coming in fast. If they keep coming in at this pace, I will enough funds to win this race.
